Well sort of!

Front and back of the bases are black. Sadly the sides are still white. Still got some vents to snip off and silver ends put on the cut down pikes.

Final Job is varnish time.

After much hunting, cursing and general harrumphing I managed to locate the Militia. Only to find I was short a few miniatures. I have decided to go for a mounted command, as well as adding the missing models.  Now either I miscounted the first time round or I had a different plan on how they would be based. The problem with the latter is that no matter how I try to work it out I am still short on Rear rank pikes and shot. Therefore I am going to have to say I am crap at counting.

I mean there is a vague, outside chance I didn’t get what I ordered, but that is highly unlikely.

I just hope the next lot aren’t an absolute mess like the others.

    1. Cheers. The few figures missing are from the militia. The next lot idiot boy decided he needed. As for painting I have seen both documented in historical texts. Sometimes the whole thing, other times just the wheels or carriage. I suppose it would help waterproof the wooden parts too. I went for the whole lot approach as I couldn’t be bothered to faff about trying to paint the bits in different colours.
