Flag Waving

Well go me, I managed to glue the flags to the appropriate flag pole.

So here they are… I initially planned to have two different rectangular flags for the Pike Block. I realised that too late as the rest were glued on. Therefore we have two identical ones.

Off on the boat tomorrow night, so no painting or anything… Back on Monday morning.

Next to do is the flock.

Woohoo Done…

Well sort of!

Front and back of the bases are black. Sadly the sides are still white. Still got some vents to snip off and silver ends put on the cut down pikes.

Final Job is varnish time.

After much hunting, cursing and general harrumphing I managed to locate the Militia. Only to find I was short a few miniatures. I have decided to go for a mounted command, as well as adding the missing models.  Now either I miscounted the first time round or I had a different plan on how they would be based. The problem with the latter is that no matter how I try to work it out I am still short on Rear rank pikes and shot. Therefore I am going to have to say I am crap at counting.

I mean there is a vague, outside chance I didn’t get what I ordered, but that is highly unlikely.

I just hope the next lot aren’t an absolute mess like the others.

Waving a Flag

Well I was hoping to get the Florentine forces finished this evening but the bases are still tacky from where I splashed the water/PVA mix about.

So I cut out all the flags I had, ready to get them clashed on the banner poles when the bases dry.

I wanted lots of flags, I ended up with only thirteen. I will have to organise more I think… Tomorrow will tell.
