The maps started when I was struggling during Long COVID. I had lost a lot of fine motor skills. My brain wasn’t up to writing so maps it was. I am eventually going to use one for Five Leagues from the Borderlands. But in general they are just something for me to do. I can show some more of the towns when I get back. Working on another blank one at the minute. The Boat doesn’t leave for another hour so it stops me getting bored.
Right a sort of therapy then? I have a friend who builds 1:35 tank kits, because he lost a lot of fine control after a stroke. He does very well with them.
You mention the boat a lot. How often do you venture back to the mainland?

To start with yeah…I get off island when I can. Usually once a year, but I was away at the Claymore show at the start of the year and then again at the start of this month. Probably will be it until next year. The weather does get a bit dodgy in the winter lol.
This looks great, have you just used black pen?
