Well yes I have been a bit quiet of late. I took a bit of a health wobble and really struggled to do anything. I actually had to cancel some training and do office work instead.  I have done a few arty pastel scribbles…

I ordered the Florentine Militia from Alternative Armies, because I haven’t got a whole army to paint! This is going to be a good while to get to me, the cannons took a bit of time, and due to a lot of orders during their sale then they warned there would be an additional two week delay.

I am on train the trainer shenanigans  in Edinburgh and was told to visit Wonderland Models on Lothian road. In a way I am glad I found it in my last day and half an hour before it closed as I would have been skint and would have needed a bigger case. I did purchase the following…

Got to be up at stupid o’ clock tomorrow morning as I am on the 07.20 flight and have to travel to the airport.

I am in the holiday inn next to Edinburgh zoo. I did plan to have a visit, but at over £30 for a ticket I quickly changed my mind. I bought the markets and barricades with the money saved. Now I absolutely don’t hold that price against them, but I have been before plenty of times and it seemed a bit expensive for an hour or two.
