Well, I was watching YouTube last night, I must have dozed off (getting old lol). So I woke up and noticed a video pledging that you would be able to paint your Warhammer miniatures without skill. Made me think, it is actually possible… it is called dunking said miniatures in a pot of paint. Otherwise skill is involved. I was too tired to watch it and now I cannot seem to find the video now. Too tired again.

Yup. Maybe it’s a good thing that painting miniatures requires skill? Maybe it’s good that it takes time and effort, and that the improvement in results over years spent in the hobby is something we have earned, and something we can feel justifiable pride in? Maybe it’s good for us to have something tangible and unique that we created, and with which we can feel honest satisfaction? Maybe a sense of accomplishment is good for us?
