Well I seem to be in a bit of painting hole at the minute. I really cannot be bothered to paint anything. This tiredness/pain thing is annoying in the extreme, so it makes motivation a bit hard.
However I found a set of miniatures that I am interested in actually painting. I remember having the full Spyre gang for Necromunda. I decided to try these from Print Miniatures.
For these I actually unboxed the new printer.

Because I am a pillock I stuck three of the miniatures onto the wrong bases, it really only affects the one on the extreme left. She is leaping at an extreme angle. If you notice there is one of them on cardboard. This is because his base failed on the printer. Hopefully this is simple teething problem… however I tried a new print for my youngest and it failed.
Hurray for getting over the hobby doldrums! I was having intermittent print failures a couple of weeks ago, re-tightening the FEP seemed to help, but ultimately I just changed the FEP and purchase new resin – so far two 3+hour prints have printed perfectly. I’ve come tot he conclusion that if I’m printing 1-2 time per week, then I’m just changing the FEP monthly.
Good luck with he printer!
