Well my youngest got me back into playing Fallout 4 from the beginning again. I really forgot how much I liked it. I am only at the lower levels and have hardly got a long way on the map, which as people who play the game know is huge.
Part of me does fancy the board game or the miniature game, but I do wonder if I would get anyone to play it with.

I am off to the Corvega Assembly Plant just now to get rid of some raiders.
As you can tell, I am not painting this evening as it has been one if those days and we have only finished dinner half an hour ago. Here is hopingbthat tomorrow will be more productive.
My little one is all about Skyrim… Getting her into the board-game would have been our ideal together-project, I think. Prohibitive, of course… But maybe one day!

I did toy with the idea for the Skyrim game, as my youngest plays it too, but as you say, it is expensive.

Whoo-hoo! Fallout 4 is always a good way to spend some time. I didn’t get on with the Fantasy Flight board game but Fallout Wasteland Warfare can certainly be played solo and has an AI system. I hope to get it on the table in a couple of months and give it a try. I’d do it sooner but my current project is messing with those plans.

I might have to haveca look into Wasteland warfare. I will have to read your blog posts for an idea.

The most common complaints I’ve heard is that the game uses a fair amount of symbols (which is too board gamey for some) and some people find the rules to be a bit complex but I’ve found them manageable overall and they’re really thematic. One thing that I don’t discuss anywhere on my site because I don’t have a 3D printer is that there is getting to be a lot of STL files for Fallout terrain. They’ve been releasing tons of cool Nuka World stuff lately so I bet you’ll have some fun printing off terrain if you decide to take the Fallout plunge 🙂

Funnily enough whist browsing my MininFactory the other day I found a load of files, proper stuff, not the usual sort of vertibird type thing.

There is a lot out there and it does tempt me into wanting a 3D printer more than anything else does!

They are a great tool, but I now have a pile of shame and a hard drive of shame that puts the pile of shame to shame.

That does scare me a bit. It also seems like printing becomes an additional hobby on top of painting and gaming. I probably have too many hobbies as it is so it is hard to make time for something else.
