I decided to bite the bullet and try a bit of a building. The ship is for my mate at the club. I said I would build it for him.
I will add more information once I get building.
I have made a start on these two. I have a bit of a conundrum with the froggy. It is basically down to the colour of his skin. On the website he is a blue colour. I am not so sure about blue, but if not, then what? He is meant to be mega rich, so his clothes are vivid colours with gold brocade ( base colour on ready for dry brushing with shining gold then top highlight with burnished gold). The dwarf is still in a base colour stage. I will get him further tomorrow.
Cracked on a bit with these this morning (I actually got up early).

I am really enjoying painting these. Not sure why I like them so much, probably because they are so full ofcharacter. The orc in the raincoat makes me think of him standing in the rain. Stuck there with a look of resignation on his face.
A trio of civilians with the washes still wet. I do like this set, I originally didn’t get the dwarf woodsman as I wasn’t going to have any dwarves. This may change as I really like the dwarf civilians set. The bloodhound with the blunderbuss is awesome. For some reason I think he is going to be a gamekeeper or something like that. I did consider him to be Ernst Von Krum’s gentleman’s gentleman. We will see how he looks when finished. The other two in this trio are fab. One armed with a knife, the other unarmed.. he reminds me of a coachman in his heavy coat. Time to make a coach methinks. I started one for Mordheim, but I think it bought the farm 🤔☹️.
Well after a brief foray into animal husbandry I am back onto my Flintloque collection.
We have 8 undead, 6 Zombie Line infantry in greatcoats, a Liche and a Vampire, the infantry are going into Brown greatcoats and will join the forces already painted. The vampire as befits his status will be rather swanky and the Liche, the bog standard sombre colours of his uniform.
The three figures are from the 54050 Valon civillian set, I have already done the gnome, but here we have an orc in a greatcoat, another orc in a furry jacket and a rather nasty looking knife and what looks like a bloodhound with a blunderbuss. The last two are LE027 Pluncorc & MacMean.
I made a start on the greatcoats at lunchtime today and will crack on later. I feel a bit of research is required to see what colours to do the cuffs and collars.
Nearly finished

All done.
