Well no painting took place today as pile of stuff needed to go into the loft and whilst I was up there I came across some of my terrain that used to spend hours building…

I am not sure what happened to the first floor of the building.it probably got chucked years ago with the rest. The room to the right was the ballroom where various shenanigans took place.

In the I used to spend hours at a time cutting out the buildings and then using Copydex to put them together. I actually used them for Roleplaying games as I wasn’t Wargaming back then. Even if they didn’t have an interior then I would add one. As you can imagine 28mm mansions tender to be a bit on the large side. I actually don’t know how much money I spent on card and ink cartridges. In the end to save both my sanity and my wallet I started just doing the floor plan  with bits and pieces of scatter.

This was a UK Television program where people did funky things with another person’s room.

However in my case it was my three kids all changing rooms with each other… cue long day of sorting and chucking out … 8 bin bags down… I cannot get to my little painting corner for things that still need to move.

Errr painting didn’t really happen this evening, as I got chatting and reading and err I just realised the time, so no painting tonight.

On a rather gross note, my left hand index finger decided to release the pressure this evening… it is still painful as heck and a lot bigger and redder than it should be, but at least something is moving.

Tonight I had more books to mark as I ended up teaching today as I couldn’t find a supply teacher to cover an absence. I did however make sure that I got some painting in…

This lot of Monster Hunter miniatures are finished… I also made a start in a couple of Rohan miniatures I printed about a month ago.

Sadly, I didn’t manage to get any real painting done this evening. I faffed about painting in white bits, and then realised I had a pile of marking to do, so unfortunately that had to happen.

Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive on the hobby side.

Tonight I just got the 15mm Monster Hunter bases touched up. I painted in the foot area that hadn’t been covered by the basing gunk.

I redid the palanquin bearers and added them to a lolly stick. Typically my thin superglue decided to stick the lid to the bottle and it will take some pliers to get it off.

I got a few pleasant surprises today, first off, I got a new set of rules…

I also suddenly remembered that my mate gave me some miniatures before Christmas…

As you can see I got the odd one or two… some Warlord Ashigaru and some kind of dark dwarves, never seen them before.

It has been one of those weeks and tonight I decided to have a night off.

My Irregular Miniatures order has now been shipped…

The parcel should be here Monday. Hopefully I will be inntye mood tomorrow to do some of the things I already have.

Well my youngest got me back into playing Fallout 4 from the beginning again. I really forgot how much I liked it. I am only at the lower levels and have hardly got a long way on the map, which as people who play the game know is huge.

Part of me does fancy the board game or the miniature game, but I do wonder if I would get anyone to play it with.

I am off to the Corvega Assembly Plant just now to get rid of some raiders.

As you can tell, I am not painting this evening as it has been one if those days and we have only finished dinner half an hour ago. Here is hopingbthat tomorrow will be more productive.
