Which fictional world would be the most fun to vacation in?
Well there are a few I could think of… What about the Wizarding World… But as I seem to be a Muggle then errrrr maybe I am already in it…
So that leaves me with Middle Earth or Diskworld…
I would be happy to visit both, but as Tolkien has a world riven by strife then off to Ankh Morpork I go….
Luckily I have my map of the city to help me avoid the Shades!
So I am attempting a new regime. A a big word for trying something new… lol.
Basically I have decided that even an hour to do some painting can feel like a lot. So I am going for about half an hour daily. Obviously if I achieve more…yippee, but providing I do the half hour or use up one colour of paint then I am happy 😊.
Here is the yellow/brown on them. Faces and hands next. That shouldn’t take too long then it will be the buff coat. Now the buff coat is often seen as a golden brown or a light yellowy/brown.
Now as I have a similar colour then my buff coats are going to be pale bone colour…. More like this…
The above is a 17th century version, but the colour will work for me.
The thing with the half hour sessions is that if I feel up to it then I can easily decide to do so
I am now feeling the urge to try the colour out.

Not exactly the last three seconds like a film. But in two sessions I have got a bit further forward…

Well, I am back in my own house and decided to slap a bit of paint on the militia.
Reddish, blue, green and grey so far. Got a yellow/sand to go then onto the buff coat…
I am knackered at the minute so not feeling the love of these lol.

Well to me honest, I am feeling a bit tired and achy… My Florentine Militia have now got some blue on every base. Be it hose, pantaloons or coat. Every base has at least something blue on there somewhere… Sadly knackers here forgot to take a photo.Â
I will have to show you on Friday. Tomorrow I am house sitting for my sister whilst looking after her girls…
Flipping heck, I just let the dog out and someone has turned the dark back on!
The family members have returned from their hols and as such we didn’t eat until about 20:30 after two days of leading training I am a bit pooped and really couldn’t be bothered to paint anything. Hopefully tomorrow will see me raring to go.
So it begins…
As I said yesterday, I have ordered a few more miniatures. 2 bases of pikes, a few bits and bobs to go along with these.
Thankfully not as many as the Mercenary force. I definitely will need more flags. These are just going to have the white version.
If nothing else then it will give another player a small force to play with.
If I can be bothered I will get these sprayed in a while.
Which author would you love to have dinner with?
First off, do I have a favourite author, yes indeed, I do love my Terry Pratchett books, but would I want to have dinner with him… probably not to be honest
I would in all honesty like to have a bit of a chat with JRR Tolkien. So many questions… He would probably hate to have dinner with me.
Well I managed to sort of get a photo of the eclipse earlier on.
Luckily as the clouds rolled in then it filtered the light a bit and IÂ achieved the above shot.
Been too much craft on recently for me to finish my Florentine troops. Hopefully I will get back on with them tomorrow.
