What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?

This is honestly not safe for work… apologies to anyone who gets offended… There is a radio version where all the naughty words are bleeped out.

I can’t really think of anything, but I remember, as a kid of about eight or nine, trying to work out how old I would be in the year 2000… What…How ancient?

Yeah 34! Ancient and over the hill.

I used to have a really huge dislike of seaweed… I think Jaws has something to do with that, similar fear of dark water.

I have gone sea kayaking in the dark which funnily enough meant I had to deal with the both of them… Sadly I cannot find the photos….

  1. I think buying presents for people and worrying about whether they’d like them! Fortunately I stopped worrying about that decades ago, working on the assumption that if I didn’t buy people presents they couldn’t be put in a position to not like them! Me being stingy also helped! 😉

  2. I remember figuring out that I would be 35 in 2000, at about the same age as you, and thinking about all the stuff I would have by then – turns out I would be married, divorced, have two children and living in Maine – none of which I thought I would be the future!
As for something I used to worry about but don’t now, I would have to say having the “right” clothing. Growing up poor, I felt keenly aware of that fact once I got to college, now, I wear what’s comfortable or required by work!
