Why do you blog?

The short answer to the question is to help me with my hobby projects. It started off with blogging about something I had painted. In 2017 I started this blog and have now posted 2395 Times. The Longest streak was 960 days, which frankly is bonkers. The Longest blog streak prior to starting this one was 3 days.

I have ‘met’ some amazing people via this blog and follow a lot back. This is definitely a supportive community.

I am about half way through my allocated space allowance so I reckon I have got about another five years to go.

As for the long answer… that will have to wait… I need to go to sleep!

  1. Well…. To start with it was a motivational thing to encourage me to get stuff done, but it’s grown into more than that I’ve learnt so much from other blogs and through pushing myself (especially with the sculpting side) by taking part in the challenges other bloggers have run.

It’s been a thrill discovering friends amongst you lot, it sustained my through the pandemic, and quite frankly these days it’s so rare I actually play a game let alone go to a wargames club, that if I did show stuff to you lot, no one would ever see it!

    Cheers Roger.

    1. I agree with Roger, but it also added another dimension for me – to share what I have found and what I have learned to others. Maybe at some point I need to branch out into youtube, but I’m not there yet. Like Roger, the community we have is wonderful and inspiring.
