Teatime a Trollkin II
Managed a little bit more tonight.
Hopefully I will get these finished tonight.
Teatime Trollkin
I managed to get a wash on the clothing. Figures always look naff at this stage, it can get a bit disheartening especially when you look at the amazing work some people do.
Bedtime Trollkin
I managed to get some more of the base colours done this evening. They are lovely figures, they do, however, have faces only a mother could love. They work for Trollkin though.
Lunchtime Trollkin
I managed a little bit today. The highlight on the old troll’s trousers is a bit too bright. I will tone it down a bit.
I doubt I will get anything done this evening but we shall see.

Another lovely set of civilians for Valon. These are made of resin so are very light.
MDF kits
I decided to bite the bullet and try a bit of a building. The ship is for my mate at the club. I said I would build it for him.
I will add more information once I get building.
Schwatrzenbark Finished
Well I got a bit of time this afternoon and managed to get him finished.
He is a lovely figure, I would have preferred a saddle blanket rather than a fur one. However I probably could have given Alternative armies a shout and they may have been able to supply one.
I have decided that he will be used as an officer for my Ostarian rather than Pudigrochumsberg in the pay of the Emperor Mordred.
Slowly getting there –
Managed to do a smidgeon on Scwartzenbark and to shape the pole on the Brougham.
Hopefully I will be able to crack on later this evening and tomorrow.
Reaper Bones
I do like these bones figures. They come as a white plastic figure that is really well detailed. The good thing is that they are nice and cheap.
The ogre chieftain is £2.25, the cave troll sits at £2.00 with the werewolf coming in at a mere £2.55.
They are big beasties too. They are stood next to a Perry’s French Agincourt knight.
The models take the paint really well, this actually Surprised me a bit. I was obviously remembering my old plastic Airfix figures that the paint would spring off.
The werewolf is based differently as I want him for Flintloque type adventures. The others are part of my Dragon Rampant forces where everything is on circular bases.
Beasties
Well I messed around loads tonight so only managed to get the horse done and the werewolf part painted.
I really do like the Reaper Bones werewolf, really cheap but a cracking figure
I also managed to get a grey base coat for Schwartzenbark’s uniform done.
Another parcel from Alternative Armies came today too.
Some figures from the Lady Wintermore’s Fangs set as well as Uncle Rogipoos, Jose and Nursey. I got some more halflings for my eldest to paint up too.
