Well okay, maybe enlarged heads would be a better description…
After spending ages making my own naff bottle toppers, I found these free ones… the idea is to paint these in the colour in the bottle. This will show the true colour on a model. I have twenty four of these and another twenty four ork heads for my Vallejo Xpress colours.
These are fastened on with Greenstuff. I hope to get them painted tomorrow.
So the other night instead of painting anything or sleeping for that matter I took a walk outside…

As the title says, I actually got my arse into gear and managed to paint something… not a huge amount, but I did manage. It was really hard to get motivated. I mean I actually had to force myself to sit down… it was a definite case of Captain Procrastination this evening.
I have added a Greenstuff saddle to the bear to give the rider a bit of packing under his backside.
I also finished the ram rider, he is now ready for basing.
I got a couple of packages today, one was a paddle board and the other was my long awaited Vallejo Xpress paints… sadly I had a bit of an issue…
Luckily it was just one of the bottles of red.
This came today and I asked for Speedpaints 2.0 for my birthday on Friday so look out for a wave of painting taking place…well I hope there will be.
It was the last day of term today and the last Geek club for a while. I managed to get some painting done.,,

Now to put things into context in gaming terms I am à wood elf player… dwarves… meh! But I have persevered and painted some for Mordheim. But to be honest I want a lot of these 🙂
Really like the bear heavy cavalry.
Lots of sandbags… luckily I didn’t have to fill them as these ones took just over 9 hours to print.
I will get the mortar printed tomorrow.

Tonight I mainly worked on the mounted dwarf.
Still a bit to go, but getting further. The two rangers are just about done too.
I tripped over the dog tonight, grazed my elbow,s, split my knee open. Belted my head either on the stone wall or on the floor. Either way I am feeling sorry for myself.
This evening I did a bit more on the pair of rangers and a smidge on the mounted dwarf too.
They are nearly finished…
