Working on my Ferach Cantiniere. Bit of a wierd colour combination but I think it works.

The yellow needs highlights as does the pink.

Light Infantry Painted
Well I eventually got back to getting something painted. These were almost done so I pushed on and got them finished. Unfortunately I didn’t clean off any flash before starting these so a couple of them are a bit lumpy in places. I suppose my favourite figure is the kneeling one in the bonnet de police. As this group are in various states of undress these will be my elite unit of Ferach lights. If I had a wish list it would be another half dozen of these in similar attire to make a unit of ten. The officer was snaffled from the original Flintloque set – it turns out I have three sets.

Hidden Stash
Dark Elves,
After bemoaning the amount of figures I still have to paint, I went into work today and found a box of Dark Elf guerillas hidden in plain sight. Now this is a little tricky as I was going to base most of my games in the North. I have the mounted La Spiga to act as an officer as well as the priest. The conundrum is, do I just get rid of these or, do I somehow incorporate them into whatever I am doing…..

Flintloque purchases
Whoops,
I have just purchased another eclectic mix of Flintloque figures. Ranging from a giant toad to some HEVC halflings, with some dog officers and a squad of pugs and a couple of dodgy highwaymen. I started the order 2 days ago and it has changed numerous times. The only constant was a mounted dog officer: prince Schwarzenbarch.
I promised myself I wouldn’t purchase any more until I finished what I already had! Well that promise lasted!
Orange and Blue
Managed to paint all of the orange tonight and tidied up the blue base colour. Covered the orange in Ogryn flesh wash to add some shading.
Fairie Catchers

Well, this is something a bit different. A Fairie catcher and his ‘prentice. These chaps are a lovely little set. they came with four fairies, which I will get onto eventually. Once again I have made a start on these at work, the downside was that a. the light isn’t brilliant and b. I forgot my glasses for close up work. I will carry on with these when I get home and try and get them finished.

Need to get the bases done, but happy to say these are finished.
I am really enjoying painting the Flintloque miniatures as they are a whole lot bigger than the usual 10 and 6mm that I have been used to of late. I am going to crack on with the box of unpainted stuff before I purchase any more.
Alternative armies have an amazing range for Flintloque, as well as many other ranges.
Ernst Von Krum
Had a bash at painting over my lunch at work. Quite frankly the lighting was naff, but it was better than messing around with my IPad.
I finished both him and his horse off when I got home. I used some green stuff to cover up the faces on the rump as well as adding some form of roll behind the saddle.
Ferach light Infantry
Next up on the painting table is a group of five Ferach light infantry. Still not sure which way to paint up the uniforms, the ivory trousers may become white. Still yet to decide.
