According to WordPress today was my 271st day of posting in a row.

It has now become easier to post than to not post. Before June I was pretty much posting every day, but last June I became deputy head of one of the secondary schools and in the whole of June I think I managed six posts. Things picked up slightly in July and really kicked off at the start of August.

One of my biggest worries when I started was that I wouldn’t keep things up. I have tried blogs for years and never got beyond the first week at best.

To be honest, I think if I hadn’t have met some awesome people on here I probably would have maybe made it to the back end of 2017 and then packed it in.

So it has been a bit of a long eclectic journey, three years this August. As my blog is filling up I think I will have to move on from the free one and start paying for it. So much for only lasting a week!

  3. Congrats on the streak! It really is incredible. I completely agree with what you said about the online community. I wasn’t able to find a great one in the city where I live but online, I’ve gotten to know and share my hobby with some really cool people and it keeps me motivated as well.
